catching up

before and after

It is finally done! These pictures don't really do it justice but this bathroom was GROSS!! I wish that I had taken pictures of the shower so I could remember just how awful it was. I am so thankful for the hard work that Ethan, his dad and Brenda put in to help with this project. Now I don't get grossed out every time Adella takes a bath.

Let it snow!

We finally have snow that doesn't melt away. Adella is excited to see it every morning as we bundle up to go out. I am not, although snow is better than slush or rain.

Hello and farwell to Fall!!

We tried to do some fun family fall activities. I realized in the 7+ years that Ethan and I have been married we have never picked and carved pumpkins. Does that make us Halloween grinches?

I was surprised how much we enjoyed it. Adella wasn't so into it and eventually passed out on the couch but we had fun.

Halloween night we opted to stay at home and handout candy. Adella loved giving candy to everyone and sneaking some for herself. The costume, although adorable, lasted all of about 5 minutes. (Just about as long as it took to take these photos.)

Although the weather was great for the trick or treaters, I fear the fall is on it's way out.

A view from my front window just days later.

Our Little Delli May is 2!!

Yes folks it is true! Adella is 2 years old!

She is busy, busy. Some things that she is into right now include...

everything babies,

dressing up (especially sunglasses and purses),

going to the park,

and art projects.

She is pretty good at entertaining herself for a little while ...

as long as I can accept that free play for her means a mess to clean up for me.

Nothing new...

I don't really have anything to say.... I just thought that I should post some new pictures.

Easter

We really tried to get some cute Easter pictures of Adella but as I have mentioned in previous posts I am not always successful. She especially didn't like the idea of rabbit ears on her head.

She did enjoy the jellybean hunt. Mostly she liked eating the candy. (As you can see all over her dress.)

Here are some other random pictures I took throughout the week that I thought were cute.
